Admission Requirements

Applying to AUI GLOBAL?
AUI Global welcomes applications from motivated Moroccan students ready to earn Al Akhawayn bachelor's degree through a work-integrated, hands-on learning experience. Admission is competitive and open to students based in our active regions
Admission Standards
AUI applies the same admissions standards to AUI Global applicants that it applies to applicants to AUI's residential undergraduate programs. The University does not create a separate admissions track for distance education. Admissions decisions rely on documented preparation, prior academic performance, and demonstrated capacity to succeed in an English-medium liberal arts curriculum
Applicants must be based in one of AUI Global’s currently active regions:
The Oriental Region
Dakhla-Oued Eddahab
At this stage, applications are limited to these regions. Additional regions will be introduced in future cohorts.
Applicants must hold a Moroccan baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification.
Students currently in their first year of baccalaureate may apply for conditional admission. Final admission will be confirmed once official baccalaureate results are submitted.
All applicants are required to take the General Aptitude Test (GAT) as part of the admission process.
The GAT is a standardized requirement aligned with AUI Global academic standards, similar to SAT or ACT in international university systems.
There is currently no alternative or exemption for this requirement.
AUI requires students who do not meet the University's English language expectations at entry to complete prescribed English coursework and/or placement-directed support.
The University uses established placement processes to assign the appropriate English course sequence. Where students require additional language support concurrent with coursework, AUI Global coordinates that support through the same academic units and policies used for AUI students.
As part of the process, applicants may be invited to an online interview.
This is not a selective or competitive step. It is designed to:
understand the student’s profile
support academic placement
help align students with the Work-Based Learning experience
Key dates and deadlines for the academic year
